Spiral staircase GRENOBLE DE LUXE

Share

The Grenoble de Luxe spiral staircase was originally manufactured by Grenoble-based Jay & Jalliffier. The company was founded in 1884 and specialized in metalwork such as elevators, shutters and staircases.

This type of staircase is also known as a bistro staircase, due to its size and the places (such as bars, pubs and cafés) where it has often been installed and found. The luxury model differs from the standard model in that it has cast-iron side elements. This gives the staircase a luxurious appearance.

Villa d'Or has taken over production of this architectural masterpiece, featuring wooden (oak) steps and risers with cast-iron and steel elements. Villa d'Or offers exactly the same two versions as those produced at the time by Jay & Jallifier.
